The final aesthetic design is lead from key physical features; the radius on the element housing prevents over pouring when the kettle is poured using the countertop as a guide; the 'nose' creates a direct down pour, preventing water pouring over the cup edge.

The colours and use of wood create a vintage feel, drawing upon nostalgia – a direct contrast to the hi-technology key to the concept. The wood, alongside the woollen jumper, provide heightened tactile experience, whilst the fragrance release system acts a subtle cue for the sighted, but contribute to an enhanced experience for the blind and partially sighted.
